An 82-year-old woman was caught shoplifting in a supermarket store.

When an elderly woman in need went shopping without paying, the store manager in Ferentino made a beautiful and bold step in her favor, saying, “I told her everything, she may have been my mother.”

A elderly citizen was apprehended robbing the Se Bon grocery on Via Casilina in Ferentino, Frosinone. “Please don’t call the cops; I don’t want my grandkids to know,” she implored the owner, who obliged.

Il Messaggero narrates the story of an incident in which the main character is one of many people who are on the verge of going bankrupt and will not be able to make it until the end of the month owing to price rises.

Grandma, 82, was starving but unable to eat.

Francesco Sciucco, the store manager, stopped the call to 112 and handed her the goods—everything she had put in the cart, down to the last penny. He stated the possibility that it was his mother, therefore he was unable to react otherwise.

The businessman performed a lovely and admirable gesture, but he did not want to be applauded for it because he had already made many sacrifices in his life and could not turn away from the pain of others. “Come grab what you need anytime you want; a few euros don’t matter anything to me,” he added.

The store manager offers her some money since she needs it to go shopping.

At midday, the woman walked to the grocery and

“I don’t want my grandkids to know that their grandmother is a thief,” the elderly woman said as the staff prepared to dial 112. The owner allowed her come home once she returned everything she had taken.
